Story
After sleeping for five hundred years, Lightning is awoken by the deity Bhunivelze and chosen to be the Savior, a semi-divine figure tasked with rescuing the souls of Nova Chrysalia, which is destined to end for good in thirteen days, so they may be reborn in a new world. Lightning undertakes this task to rescue and ensure the rebirth of Serah's spirit. As she journeys and performs her task, she encounters her former allies and adversaries, many of them carrying heavy emotional burdens, and ends up tangled in the rivalry between the Order and the Children of Etro. Added to this is a prophecy which states that Lightning would destroy the world on its final day, forcing her to fight some of her old allies.
